Safety & Sustainability
SUSTAINABILITY
Our Environmental & Social Responsibility is an ongoing commitment to accelerate our transition to a Carbon Neutral future through healthier choices for our planet and future generations
We will make a deliberate effort to reduce our carbon footprint, minimise the impact of our operations on the environment, and ongoing assessment of our supply chain to minimise the risk of human rights abuses and modern slavery, whilst embracing inclusion and diversity within the Minus 1 business.
We actively seek out partnerships with suppliers and vendors who share our commitment to environmental sustainability.
Safety
At Minus 1, the safety and wellbeing of our teams are at the centre of everything we do. We understand the critical importance of maintaining the highest standards of safety for both our employees and the cargo we handle, and our commitment to safety extends beyond compliance; it’s ingrained in our company culture and drives every aspect of our operations.
Our people are our greatest asset, which is why we prioritise safety above all else. From our induction programs, risk management strategies and ongoing, proactive training; we ensure that every member of our team can perform their duties in a safe environment. By fostering a strong safety culture, Minus 1 protects our people, cargo and community, and enhances efficiency, morale and ultimately the service we deliver to our customers.
One of the Minus 1 core values is Safety, which also means our fleet is at the forefront of cutting edge technology. By investing in regular vehicle maintenance, driver training initiatives and safety technologies such as GPS tracking, temperature tracking, fatigue monitoring systems and driver analytics mean that Minus 1 is able to produce data about our team’s driving habits and respond accordingly with learnings, toolboxes and one-on-one coaching sessions.
Minus 1 are proud to invest in the safety and future of our drivers who ensure safe passage for our customers’ precious cargo. That’s the degree of difference.
